Mokhtar Ghyaza
Mokhtar Ghyaza (born 15 November 1986) is a Tunisian basketball player who currently plays for US Monastir of the Championnat National A and the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Professional career Ghyaza has played pro club basketball with ES Radès and Club Africain in the Tunisian Basketball League. In the offseason of 2019, Ghyaza signed with US Monastir. After winning the 2020 championship, he made his debut in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) with the team. Monastir reached the finals. On 10 September 2021, he re-signed for another season. On 28 May 2022, he won the club's first-ever BAL championship with Monastir. Tunisian national basketball team Ghyaza was a member of the senior men's Tunisia national basketball team that finished third at the 2009 FIBA Africa Championship, to qualify for the country's first FIBA World Championship. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. 2009 FIBA Africa Championship
AfroBasket 2009 was the 25th FIBA Africa Championship, played under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, the basketball sport governing body, and the African zone thereof. At stake were the three berths allocated to Africa in the 2010 FIBA World Championship. The tournament was hosted by Libya after Nigeria, the original host, withdrew from hosting after not conforming to FIBA Africa guidelines. The 2020–21 season was the 62nd season of the US Monastir men's basketball team and the 1st of the team in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). On 27 April 2021, Monastir won its sixth Championnat National A championship, its third consecutive title in a row. 2021 BAL Season
The 2021 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 1, was the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established as a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA, the BAL is the highest tier continental league of Africa, replacing the FIBA Africa Basketball League. The 2010 FIBA World Championship was the 16th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship contested by the men's national teams. The tournament ran from 28 August to 12 September 2010. It was co-organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Turkish Basketball Federation and the 2010 Organising Committee.
