Mohiyedine Sharif
Mohiyedine Sharif ( Arabic: محيي الدين الشريف; killed March 29, 1998), also known as The Electrician, was a master bombmaker for Hamas. A protégé of Yahya Ayyash, Sharif was responsible for the First and second Jerusalem bus 18 massacres, and the Ashkelon bus station bombing. Sharif gained a Bachelor Of Arts degree in electronic engineering at the Al-Quds University. Sharif died in a car explosion near a garage in Ramallah on March 29, 1998. Many Palestinians believe that he was a victim to internal struggles between Palestinian militias. Following his death, the Palestinian Authority arrested five members of Hamas for his killing. Jibril Mahmoud Muhammad Rajoub ( ar, جبريل رجوب, born 14 May 1953), also known by his kunya Abu Rami, is a Palestinian political leader, legislator, and former militant. He leads the Palestinian Football Association and the Palestine Olympic Committee. The Palestinian Preventive Security (PPS) (Arabic: الأمن الوقائي; Al-'amn al-wiqa'i), also known as Preventive Security Force (PSF), Preventive Security Service (PSS) is one of the security apparatus of the State of Palestine. It was established in 1994 by president Yasser Arafat in accordance with the Oslo Accords. The Preventive Security is an internal intelligence organization, part of the Palestinian Security Services, and led by the Minister of the Interior. Ramallah
Ramallah ( , ; ar, رام الله, , God's Height) is a Palestinian city in the central West Bank that serves as the ''de facto'' administrative capital of the State of Palestine. It is situated on the Judaean Mountains, north of Jerusalem, at an average elevation of above sea level, adjacent to al-Bireh. Al-Quds University ( ar, جامعة القدس) is a Palestinian university with campuses in Jerusalem, Abu Dis, al-Bireh, and Hebron. Overview The idea of establishing an institution of higher learning in the outskirts of Jerusalem was conceived early in 1957, when a board of trustees was formed in Kuwait.
