Mohammad Reza Mahdavi (born 1981)
Mohammad Reza Mahdavi ( fa, محمدرضا مهدوی, born 27 January 1981 in Rasht) is an Iranian football player, who currently plays for Sepidrood. He played most his career for his hometown team Damash. Club career He has played most his career for his hometown teams Pegah Gilan and Damash Gilan. After Damash relegation to Azadegan League in 2009, he moved to Pro League team Steel Azin along with other Damash players Afshin Chavoshi and Ali Nazarmohammadi where he stayed for one season and return to Damash in 2010. He helped Damash to go back to IPL in 2011 as club's captain. After the relegation of Damash, Mahdavi joined Esteghlal Khuzestan. Rasht
Rasht ( fa, رشت, Rašt ; glk, Rəšt, script=Latn; also romanized as Resht and Rast, and often spelt ''Recht'' in French and older German manuscripts) is the capital city of Gilan Province, Iran. The 2007–08 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 25th season of Iran's Football League and seventh as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Saipa were the defending champions. The 2016–17 Azadegan League was the 26th season of the Azadegan League and 16th as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The 2015–16 Azadegan League was the 25th season of the Azadegan League and 15th as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season featured 15 teams from the 2014–15 Azadegan League, two new teams relegated from the 2014–15 Persian Gulf Pro League: Paykan and Naft Masjed Soleyman and two new teams promoted from the 2014–15 League 2: Aluminium Arak as champions and Kheybar Khorramabad.
