Mohammad Abdul Ahed
Mohammad Abdul Ahed (11th July 1919 – 1st November 2001) was an architect and painter from Pakistan. He is primarily known for designing the State Bank of Pakistan building in Islamabad and the General Post Office, Karachi. An architect is a person who plans, designs and oversees the construction of buildings. To practice architecture means to provide services in connection with the design of buildings and the space within the site surrounding the buildings that have human occupancy or use as their principal purpose.
