Mohamed Sohel Al-Masum
Mohamed Sohel Al-Masum ( bn, মোহাম্মদ সোহেল আল-মাসুম; 5 August 1975 – 13 October 2015) was a Bangladeshi footballer who mainly played as a left back. He played for a total of four clubs during his short 10-year career. International career Born in Manikganj, Masum spent his youth career with Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP). He played for the BKSP U-14 team, which won the Dana Cup in Denmark in 1990 and also the Gothia Cup in Sweden. Masum went to Bangkok in 1990 to play in the 1990 AFC U-16 Championship qualifiers, under coach Abdur Rahim. The Bangladesh U16 team defeated Malaysia U16 4–0 and tied 1–1 with Thailand U16. Bangladesh National Football Team
The Bangladesh national football team ( bn, বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় ফুটবল দল) is the national recognised football team of Bangladesh and is controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation, and became a member of FIFA in 1974, even though the Bangladesh Football Federation was first founded in 1972. Bangladesh was elected as a member of the AFC Executive Committee in 1982–1986 and 1998–2002. Federation Cup (Bangladesh)
Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Most of the matches are played in the country's main football venue Bangabandhu National Stadium. The winner of the tournament earn the slot of playing qualifying round of AFC Cup. Brothers Union is a football club based in Gopibag, Dhaka. The club was founded in 1949 and the regal business tycoon Kazi Ghiyasuddin Ahmed, better known as K. G. Ahmed served as the founder chairman of the club. At the beginning it was a well-known cultural organization. In 1973, the club started their football activities. They played 3rd Division Football League in 1973 and in 1974 and were promoted to 2nd Division in 1975. Hassan Al-Mamun ( bn, হাসান আল-মামুন; born 16 December 1978) is a Bangladeshi retired professional footballer who played as a defender. He was mainly deployed as a full back who could play on both sides of the field. He currently works as an assistant coach for the Bangladesh national football team under Javier Fernández Cabrera. Mohamed Masoud Rana ( bn, মোহাম্মদ মাসুদ রানা; born 1 January 1972) is a retired Bangladeshi professional footballer who played as a left back or as a centre midfielder. Early career In 1986, Masoud participated in the Ershad Gold Cup football tournament representing Sirajganj District. He was later included in a camp arranged by the National Sports Council in Dhaka, which consisted of the best 60 players in the tournament.
