Mohamed Ibrahim El-Sayed
Mohamed Ibrahim El-Sayed (born 16 March 1998) is an Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won one of the bronze medals in the 67 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. In 2019, he represented Egypt at the African Games held in Rabat, Morocco and won the gold medal in the men's Greco-Roman 67 kg event. He is a two-time U23 World Champion. Career In 2016, Ibrahim won the gold medal in the 66 kg event at the African Wrestling Championships held in Alexandria, Egypt. He competed at the 2017 African Wrestling Championships held in Marrakesh, Morocco and won the silver medal in the 75 kg event. Amateur wrestling is a variant of wrestling practiced in collegiate, school, or other amateur level competitions. There are two international wrestling styles performed in the Olympic Games: freestyle and Greco-Roman. Mediterranean Games
The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). It is held every four years among athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea in Africa, Asia and Europe. Egypt At The 2019 African Games
Egypt competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. In total 297 athletes were expected to represent Egypt at the games. This later increased to 330 athletes. Athletes representing the country won 102 gold medals, 98 silver medals and 73 bronze medals and the country finished 1st in the medal table. The 2019 African Games were the 12th edition of the continental multi-sport event. The games featured over 6,500 athletes from 54 countries competing in 26 sports.
