Mohamed Abdel-Shafy
Mohamed Abdel Shafy Said Abouzid ( ar, محمد عبد الشافي سعيد أبوزيد; born 1 July 1985) is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek and the Egypt national team. Club career He started his career with Zamalek youth team then moved to ENPPI then moved to Ghazl El-Mehalla. He joined Zamalek's squad again in 2009. International career Abdel Shafy was called to join the Egypt national football team on 31 December 2009. In what was a surprise to some, the Egyptian team coach, Hassan Shehata, listed Abdel Shafy among the players heading to Angola for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. Abdel Shafy became a substitute for Sayed Moawad in this tournament, and managed to participate in 5 matches. He grabbed his first goal for Egypt in the 4–0 semi-final win against Algeria. Egypt National Football Team
The Egypt national football team ( ar, منتخب مصر لكرة القدم), known colloquially as "the Pharaohs", represents Egypt in men's international football, and is governed by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), the governing body of football in Egypt. Hassan Shehata
Hassan Shehata ( ar, حسن شحاتة; born 19 June 1947) is an Egyptian former professional football player. Before retirement he played as a forward. He then became a football manager, who is now retired. Shehata led Egypt to victory in 3 titles, all which were at the African Cup of Nations: 2006, 2008 and 2010. He was the first ever coach to win three consecutive Africa Cup of Nations titles. Shehata is one of only two coaches to win the Africa Cup 3 times, along with Ghana's Charles Gyamfi. Managerial career In 2004, Shehata became Egypt's national team coach after the sacking of Italian coach Marco Tardelli. In the 2006 African Cup of Nations, hosted by Egypt, he led the team to its first Cup of Nations in eight years, defeating the Ivory Coast in the final. 2018–19 Egypt Cup
The 2018–19 Egypt Cup was the 87th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in Africa. It is sponsored by WE, and known as the WE Cup for sponsorship purposes. It started with the First Preliminary Round on 12 August 2018, and concluded with the final on 8 September 2019. Benguela (; Umbundu: Luombaka) is a city in western Angola, capital of Benguela Province. Benguela is one of Angola's most populous cities with a population of 555,124 in the city and 561,775 in the municipality, at the 2014 census.
