Miss Vietnam
Miss Vietnam (Vietnamese: Hoa hậu Việt Nam, formerly Hoa hậu Toàn quốc Báo Tiền phong until 2000) is a beauty contest in Vietnam that has been held biennially since 1988. Along with Miss Universe Vietnam and Miss World Vietnam, Miss Vietnam is one of the Big Three national beauty pageants. This contest was initiated and organized by Tiền Phong Newspaper and Sen Vàng Productions. The pageant crowned the Vietnam representatives to compete in two of the major international beauty pageants: Miss World and Miss International (alternate with Miss World Vietnam). The current Miss Vietnam titleholder is Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy from Da Nang, who was crowned on December 23, 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City. Ordos, China
Ordos ( Mongolian: ''Ordos''; ), also known as Ih Ju, is one of the twelve major subdivisions of Inner Mongolia, China. It lies within the Ordos Plateau of the Yellow River. Miss World 2012, the 62nd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 August 2012 at Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. 116 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela crowned her successor Yu Wenxia of China at the end of the event. This is the second time China has won the title of Miss World. Miss Universe 2011 was the 60th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Credicard Hall in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. At the end of the event, Ximena Navarrete of Mexico crowned Leila Lopes of Angola as Miss Universe 2011. Miss World 2008, the 58th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 13 December 2008 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
