Miss Oregon Teen USA
The Miss Oregon Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Oregon in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Until Tennessee's victory in 2009, Oregon was the only state to win more than one Miss Teen USA title. Alongside Texas they are the only two states to have produced three winners. The first two came within the years of each other, when Mindy Duncan won in 1988 becoming the 6th state that won the Miss Teen USA title for the first time and Bridgette Wilson won in 1990 who became the 8th Miss Teen USA titleholder. Wilson went on to become a successful actress and was awarded a special "Distinguished Achievement Award" in 1998. The third came over a decade later, when Tami Farrell won the crown in 2003 who became the 21st Miss Teen USA titleholder. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Miss California USA
Miss California USA is the beauty pageant that selects the representative for the state of California in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. The pageant is directed by Crown Diva Productions. California's most successful placements were in 1959, 1966, 1975, 1983, 1992, and 2011, when Terry Huntingdon, Maria Remenyi, Summer Bartholomew, Julie Hayek, Shannon Marketic, and Alyssa Campanella, respectively, were crowned Miss USA. The current Miss California USA is Tiffany Johnson of Lancaster, California, who is crowned on June 5, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. Miss Teen USA 2016
Miss Teen USA 2016 was the 34th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 30, 2016. Katherine Haik of Louisiana crowned her successor Karlie Hay of Texas, at the end of the event. The pageant was webcast on the Miss Universe website, Facebook page, and mobile app as well as on Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles via Xbox Live. It was hosted by Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan and social media star Cody Johns, while ''American Idol'' winner Nick Fradiani performed. This is the first time that the state of Nevada hosted the pageant and the first Miss Teen USA pageant held in the United States since 2007. Miss Teen USA 2017
Miss Teen USA 2017 was the 35th Miss Teen USA pageant held at the Phoenix Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona on July 29, 2017. Karlie Hay of Texas crowned her successor, Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff of Missouri at the end of the event. The pageant was hosted by celebrity personal trainer and author Heidi Powell and E! correspondent Erin Lim, while Mexican singer Jorge Blanco performed. It was the first time the pageant was held in Arizona and the first to broadcast in high dynamic range (HDR) color, virtual reality and on PlayStation consoles. This was the final year that Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants have held separately, due to scheduling changes of the succeeding year's pageant that Dominguez-Heithoff would be the shortest reigning titleholders in the pageant, which held for nine months and 19 days. Tualatin, Oregon
Tualatin () is a city located primarily in Washington County in the U.S. state of Oregon. A small portion of the city is also located in neighboring Clackamas County. It is a southwestern suburb in the Portland Metropolitan Area that is located south of Tigard. The population was 26,054 at the 2010 census. Miss Teen USA 2020 was the 38th Miss Teen USA pageant. Originally scheduled to be held in spring 2020, the competition was postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later rescheduled for November 7, 2020 at the Exhibition Centre and the Soundstage at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. The competition was hosted by Allie LaForce and Cheslie Kryst. The competition marked the first year that a new crown made by luxury jeweler Mouawad was used at Miss Teen USA, effectively retiring the Mikimoto Crown. Miss Teen USA 2021 was the 39th Miss Teen USA pageant, held on November 27, 2021, at the Paradise Cover Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Miss Teen USA 2022 was the 40th edition of the Miss Teen USA pageant. The competition was held on October 1, 2022 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. The competition was be hosted by Elle Smith and Christian Murphy. Breanna Myles of Florida crowned Faron Medhi of Nebraska as her successor at the end of tion of the event.
