Miss Mexico 2019 was the 3rd edition of the Miss Mexico pageant, held on Friday September 20, 2019 at the Desert of the Lions National Park in Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City, Mexico. The winner was Ashley Alvídrez Estrada of Chihuahua and she represented Mexico in Miss World 2019. Alvídrez Estrada was crowned by outgoing titleholder Vanessa Ponce de León, who is also Miss World 2018. Miss World 1995
Miss World 1995, the 45th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 November 1995 for the fourth straight year at the Sun City Entertainment Centre in Sun City, North West, Sun City, South Africa. The 1995 pageant attracted 84 delegates. The pageant was hosted by Richard Steinmetz, Jeff Trachta, and Bobbie Eakes and also involved supermodels Linda Evangelista and Beverly Peele and Bruce Forsyth who acted as presenters. Aside from Sun City, North West, Sun City; Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the Comoros hosted some segments of the show. The winner was Jacqueline Aguilera of Venezuela. Nuestra Belleza México 1999
The 6th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at Lienzo Charro "Cuna de la Charrería" in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico on September 12, 1999. Thirty-two contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Leticia Murray from Sonora, who later competed at Miss Universe 2000 in Cyprus. Murray was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Silvia Salgado. She is the second blonde and only Sonorense to win this title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Danette Velasco from Distrito Federal, who later competed at Miss World 1999 in United Kingdom. Nuestra Belleza México 2009
The 16th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant was held at the Centro de Convenciones Yucatán Siglo XXI of Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico on September 20, 2009. It was the second time there were back-to-back victories for a state in Nuestra Belleza México history: Ximena Navarrete from Jalisco was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karla Carrillo also from Jalisco. She was the third Jalisciense to win this title. Thirty-four contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title. Navarrete competed in Miss Universe 2010 in the US and won the Universal Title. The Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title was won by Anabel Solís from Yucatán, who competed in Miss World 2010 in China. Miss World 2017, the 67th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 November 2017 at the Sanya City Arena in China. 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico crowned her successor Manushi Chhillar of India at the end of the event. Miss World Mexico 2016, now referred to as Miss Mexico 2016, is the very first edition of a new Miss Mexico Organization, pageant organization formed by Hugo Castellanos after Lupita Jones, president of Nuestra Belleza México (now Mexicana Universal), lost the franchise with Miss World. The pageant held at Teatro Morelos of Morelia, Michoacán on 14 October 2016 . 31 contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title. Alma Andrea Meza Carmona (born 13 August 1994) is a Mexican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2020. Since winning the title, she became the third Mexican woman to be crowned Miss Universe. Meza holds the record of the shortest completed reign in Miss Universe history to date. Señorita México was the name of a national beauty pageant in Mexico, celebrated since 1952. After 2005, the pageant changed its name to "Miss Mexico". From 1952 to 1994, was the official pageant responsible for sending the country's representatives to the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International and other international pageants. After the crowning of Lupita Jones, as Mexico's first Miss Universe, a dispute between Miss Jones and the pageant organizers over overdued prizes, led to a break of the longtime association between the pageant and the broadcast network Televisa.
