Miss Georgia Teen USA
The Miss Georgia Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Georgia in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is directed Greenwood Productions under the ownership of Miss Tennessee USA 1989 Kim Greenwood. The pageant is hosted on McDonough, Georgia. Georgia is in the top 5 most successful states at Miss Teen USA in terms of number and value of placements. Despite this, like their sister pageant, Miss Georgia USA, they have never won the competition despite having placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th as well as several finalist and semi-finalist spots. They have never won any of the main awards, but did win Style awards in 1999 and 2000. Four Georgia teens later won the Miss Georgia USA crown, and two others won the Miss Indiana USA and Miss Virginia USA titles, respectively. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Miss Teen USA 2023
Miss Teen USA 2023 was the 41st Miss Teen USA pageant, held on September 28, 2023 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. Faron Medhi of Nebraska crowned UmaSofia Srivastava of New Jersey as her successor at the end of the event. Her win was the first win for New Jersey and the first back-to-back titleholders with Indian ancestry in Miss Teen USA's history. This was the first edition of the pageant to be held under the ownership of fashion designer Laylah Rose and was streamed on The CW website and mobile app. Background Location On July 14, 2022, it was reported that the competition would be held in Reno, Nevada, with the city securing a three-year deal to host the pageant from 2022 to 2024. Miss Teen USA 2015 was the 33rd Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas on August 22, 2015 and was hosted by Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady and television writer Nick Teplitz. Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen
The Miss Georgia's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Georgia in the Miss America's Teen pageant. The pageant is held each June in Columbus, Georgia. Rebecca Zhang of Johns Creek was crowned Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen on June 18, 2022, at the RiverCenter of the Performing Arts in Columbus, Georgia. She competed for the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas in Dallas, Texas on August 12, 2022, where she was in the Top 11. On December 29, 2022, Zhang resigned her title due to her academic obligations at Vanderbilt University. The Miss Georgia Organization announced that Anna Kate Robinson, the 2nd runner-up to Zhang, will assume the title of Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen 2022. Vidalia ( ''vye-DAYL-yə'' , ) is a city located primarily in Toombs County, Georgia, United States. The city also extends very slightly into Montgomery County. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 10,473. Vidalia is the principal city of the Vidalia Micropolitan Statistical Area, a micropolitan area that covers Montgomery and Toombs Counties, and had a combined population of 36,346 at the 2010 census. Miss Teen USA 2016 was the 34th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 30, 2016. Katherine Haik of Louisiana crowned her successor Karlie Hay of Texas, at the end of the event. The pageant was webcast on the Miss Universe website, Facebook page, and mobile app as well as on Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles via Xbox Live. Miss Teen USA 2017 was the 35th Miss Teen USA pageant held at the Phoenix Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona on July 29, 2017. Karlie Hay of Texas crowned her successor, Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff of Missouri at the end of the event. The pageant was hosted by celebrity personal trainer and author Heidi Powell and E! correspondent Erin Lim, while Mexican singer Jorge Blanco performed. It was the first time the pageant was held in Arizona and the first to broadcast in high dynamic range (HDR) color, virtual reality and on PlayStation consoles. Miss Teen USA 2020
Miss Teen USA 2020 was the 38th Miss Teen USA pageant. Originally scheduled to be held in spring 2020, the competition was postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later rescheduled for November 7, 2020 at the Exhibition Centre and the Soundstage at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. The competition was hosted by Allie LaForce and Cheslie Kryst. The competition marked the first year that a new crown made by luxury jeweler Mouawad was used at Miss Teen USA, effectively retiring the Mikimoto Crown. For a third consecutive year, the competition was held concurrently alongside the Miss USA competition.
