Slovakia (; sk, Slovensko ), officially the Slovak Republic ( sk, Slovenská republika, links=no ), is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Ladislav Kamenický
Ladislav Kamenický (born 4 October 1970 ) is an MP of the National Council of Slovakia for Direction – Slovak Social Democracy (Smer-SD). He served as the Minister of Finance for little over a year between 2019 and 2020. Ladislav Kamenický graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava. In 2012 he became an MP of the National Council of Slovakia. As an MP, is seen as polite and staunchly loyal to the leadership of Smer-SD's Chairman and Kamenický's personal friend Robert Fico . In 2019 he became the Minister of Finance, filling the seat emptied after the previous minister Peter Kažimír became the Central Bank Governor. Igor Matovič
Igor Matovič (born May 11, 1973) is a Slovak politician and former businessman. He previously served as Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia and Minister of Finance from April 2021 to December 2022 and Prime Minister from March 2020 to March 2021. Born in Trnava, he studied at Comenius University and went into the publishing business. Eduard Heger (; born 3 May 1976) is a Slovak politician, serving as Prime Minister of Slovakia since 1 April 2021. He previously served as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in the cabinet of Igor Matovič. Heger is a member of the presidium of the populist movement Ordinary People and Independent Personalities (OĽaNO). Early life Heger was born in 1976 in Bratislava to parents employed in culture. Peter Kažimír (born 28 June 1968 in Košice, Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, Czechoslovakia)) is a Slovak central banker and former politician, currently serving as the Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS). Ján Počiatek (born 16 September 1970) is a Slovak politician. Early life and education Počiatek speaks English fluently and also has an advanced knowledge of German and Russian. Ivan Mikloš (born 2 June 1960) is a Slovak politician and the former Minister of Finance of Slovakia (2010–2012). He previously served as Slovakia's Minister of Finance from 2002 to 2006, and Deputy Prime Minister for Economy between 1998 and 2002.
