The Mind Set Art Center (MSAC; ) is a contemporary art gallery in Daan District, Taipei City, Daan District, Taipei, Taiwan, predominantly known for its specialty in representing emerging artists around the world, in particular Taiwanese artists. Daan District, Taipei City
Daan District (or Da-an District, Da'an, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency District) is an important educational, commercial, residential and cultural district of Taipei City, Republic of China (Taiwan). The name of the district means "great safety" or "great peace". History The district is named after Daiwan village () that was once located near the intersection of present-day Xinyi Road and Fuxing S. Road. The name was changed in the 1800s (during the Qing era) to the more auspicious but similar-sounding "Daan" (; ). In 1875, the setup of Taipeh Prefecture put the village together with and ''La̍k-tiuⁿ-lê'' (), all of which are within today's Daan District. Shi Jin-Hua
Shi Jin-Hua (; born 1964) is a Taiwanese contemporary artist, known predominantly for conceptual arts and performance; notably for his work, '' Pen Walking'', shown at Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 2008. Yee I-Lann
Yee I-Lann (born 1971) is a Malaysian contemporary artist known for her works using photography, collage, film, collaborative weaving, and everyday objects. Her practice examines power, colonialism, and neocolonialism in Southeast Asia to explore the impact of historic memory on social experience. Since 2018, Yee has been working collaboratively with sea-based and land-based indigenous communities in Sabah, Malaysia. Yee currently lives and works in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Ana Maria Micu
Ana Maria Micu (b. 1979) is a Romanian visual artist who works and lives in Botoșani, Romania. She graduated from the Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca, receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts in 2002 and an MFA in 2004. Biography Micu was born in 1979, in Botoșani, Romania. Her mother, a math teacher, encouraged her to pursue studies in mathematics. Instead, Micu elected to study fine arts in high-school, and later at the Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca. The Taipei Metro Taipower Building station is a station on the Xindian Line located on the border in Taipei, Taiwan. Taipei Metro
Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), branded as Metro Taipei, is a rapid transit system serving the areas of Taipei and New Taipei City, New Taipei in Taiwan, operated by the State-owned enterprise, government-owned Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, which also operates the Maokong Gondola. Taipei Metro was the first metro system ever built in Taiwan. The initial network was approved for construction in 1986 and work began two years later.
