Milroy Goes
Pervis Milroy Goes (born 3 September 1986), known better as Milroy Goes is an Indian film director and screenwriter of Portuguese descent from Goa His film '' Welcome M1LL10NS'' was eligible for the 91st Academy Awards in Best Picture Academy Award but was not nominated in any categories. Goes is also known for directing music videos for A R Rehman’s singer Shashaa Tirupati for major record labels in India. Goes is the first to introduce digital cinema in Goa with his debut theatrical film “''The Victim''”. He is also the Co-founder of the Premium Café brand in Goa, “Café Bom Gosto.” Early life Goes is one of ten siblings born in his family. His parents are of Indian and Portuguese descent. Cuncolim
Cuncolim is a town in South Goa district in the state of Goa, India. Etymology The name 'Cuncolim' is derived from the fact that the village was known as 'Kumkumahalli', the place where ''kumkuma '' (vermilion) is produced. Geography Cuncolim is located at . It has an average elevation of . History It is a former village, now with a municipal council of its own, in the south Goa sub-district (''taluka'') of Salcette, India. It is part of the AVC (Assolna-Velim-Cuncolim) network of villages. Historically, there are twelve ''Vangodds'' (clans) of ''Ganvkars'' (landlords) in the village. Laxmikant Parsekar
Laxmikant Parsekar (born Laxmikant Yashwant Parsekar; 4 July 1956) is an Indian politician who held the office of the Chief Minister of Goa, a state in India from 2014 to 2017. He was the member of the Goa Legislative Assembly from Mandrem constituency, and he belonged to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is currently an Independent politician. He was appointed the Chief Minister of Goa on 8 November 2014, replacing Manohar Parrikar. During the Goa Assembly Election in 2017, he lost from his seat of Mandrem. He resigned on 11 March 2017. Konkani () is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the Konkani people, primarily in the Konkan region, along the western coast of India. It is one of the 22 scheduled languages mentioned in the Indian Constitution, and the official language of the Indian state of Goa.
