Mike Higgins (basketball)
Michael S. Higgins (born February 17, 1967) is an American retired professional basketball player. A 6'9" power forward born in Grand Island, Nebraska and from the University of Northern Colorado, Higgins played two seasons (1989–1991) in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, and Sacramento Kings. He averaged 1.7 points per game in his NBA career. He later joined Obradoiro CAB. Cantabria Baloncesto was a professional basketball team who played during five seasons in Liga ACB. The team was also known as Cantabria Lobos. From 1975 to 2004 the team was based and played in Torrelavega, but after the 2003-04 season the Cantabria Lobos moved to Santander, Cantabria.
