Mike Green (basketball, Born 1985)
Michael Edward Green (born June 23, 1985) is an American professional basketball player for who last played for Igokea of the ABA League. He played college basketball for Towson and Butler. High school career Green played high school basketball at Franklin Learning Center, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. College career Green played college basketball for Butler University from 2006 to 2008. He was the Horizon League men's basketball player of the year in 2007–2008 after leading Butler in points, rebounds and assists as a senior. Professional career He went undrafted in the 2008 NBA draft. He played for the Philadelphia 76ers in the Orlando Pro Summer League in 2010, and later with the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Summer League. He played with Antalya Büyükşehir Belediyesi of the Turkish Basketball League, Liege in Belgium and Cantù in Italy. Horizon League Men's Basketball Player Of The Year
The Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the Horizon League's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1979–80 season, the first year of the conference's existence. Six players have won the award multiple times: Byron Larkin, Brian Grant, Rashad Phillips, Alfredrick Hughes, Keifer Sykes, and Loudon Love. Hughes, unlike the other four who each won twice, was awarded the player of the year on three occasions. There have only been three ties in the award's history (1981, 1983, 2022). Butler, which left for the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2012 and is now in the Big East Conference, has seven recipients, which is the most all-time. The 2014–15 LNB Pro A season was the 93rd season of the French Basketball Championship and the 28th season since inception of the LNB. The season started on September 26, 2014 and ended on June 20, 2015. LNB Pro A
The LNB Pro A, currently known for sponsorship reasons as Betclic Élite, is the top-tier men's professional basketball league in France. The competition has existed since 1921. Since 1987, the Ligue Nationale de Basket has governed the league. The bottom two placed teams from each season are relegated to the second tier level Pro B. The winner of the play-offs of the Pro A is crowned the French national champion. Competition format All 16 Pro A League teams play each other twice during the regular season.
