Mihkel Jürna
Mihkel Jürna (17 September 1899 – 5 December 1972, Tallinn) was an Estonian writer and translator. He was born in Soonuka in present-day Vinni Parish. He attended schools in Kiltsi and Väike-Maarja. From 1917 until 1923 he studied at the Hugo Treffner Gymnasium in Tartu. After graduation, he entered the Faculty of Law of the University of Tartu and graduated in 1926. From 1934 until 1937 he studied at the university's Faculty of Medicine. He died in 1972 and is buried at Metsakalmistu Cemetery in Tallinn. Tallinn
Tallinn () is the most populous and capital city of Estonia. Situated on a bay in north Estonia, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea, Tallinn has a population of 437,811 (as of 2022) and administratively lies in the Harju ''maakond'' (county). Erni Hiir
Erni Hiir (real name Ernst Hiir; 29 March 1900, in Karjatnurme, Kreis Fellin – 27 October 1989) was an Estonian poet and translator. From 1921 to 1922 he studied at the University of Tartu. From 1927, he was a member of Estonian Writers' Union. When Estonia was occupied in 1940, he was loyal to the Soviet authorities. From 1945 to 1960, he was the executive secretary of the Tartu branch of the Writers' Union. In 1962, he moved to Tallinn. He is buried in Metsakalmistu Cemetery Metsakalmistu (meaning ''Forest Cemetery'') is a cemetery in the Pirita district of Tallinn.
