Mighty Mouth
Mighty Mouth ( ko, 마이티 마우스) is a South Korean duet male group made up of Sangchu ( ko, 상추) and Shorry J ( ko, 쇼리 J). Debuted in 2008 with their ''Energy'' album featuring Yoon Eun Hye for "I love you", Sunye of the Wonder Girls for "Energy" and Son Dambi for "Family". On January 18, 2011, Mighty Mouth released Tok Tok as part of their album Mighty Fresh. This was the first of many songs featuring Soya. On 30 October 2012, Sang-chu enlisted for mandatory military service for five weeks of basic training followed by 21 months as an active-duty soldier with the 306th draft in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, where he served along with Super Junior's leader Leeteuk until his discharge on 8 Aug 2014. Kara (South Korean Band)
Kara (Hangul: 카라, Japanese: カラ, often stylized as KARA) is a South Korean pop girl group formed by DSP Media in 2007. The group's final lineup was composed of Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara and Youngji. Members Nicole and Jiyoung officially departed from the group in 2014, but rejoined the group for their 15th anniversary in 2022, while ex-member Sunghee left in 2008. Uijeongbu
Uijeongbu () is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Overview Uijeongbu is located north of the Korean capital Seoul; it lies inside a defile, with mountains on two sides, and commands a natural choke point across the main traditional invasion route from the North into Seoul. As such it has a continued military significance and it contains U.S. and Korean military bases, positioned for the defense of the Korean capital. Conscription In South Korea
Conscription in South Korea has existed since 1957 and requires male citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 to perform compulsory military service. Women are not required to perform military service, but they may voluntarily join the military. Establishment The basis for military conscription in South Korea is the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, which was promulgated on 17 July 1948. The constitution states in Article 39, "All citizens shall have the duty of national defense under the conditions as prescribed by Act." Launched on October 30, 2007, it is based in Edgewater, New Jersey, and is owned and operated by its parent company 6Theory Media. ''Allkpop'' is one of the most trafficked K-pop news sites, with over seven and half million readers per month. In its list of useful websites, ''The Korea Herald'' called it the "fastest news breaker" for K-pop. Son Dam-bi (; born September 25, 1983) is a South Korean singer, actress and entertainer. She began her career as a solo singer in 2007. She also made her acting debut in the 2009 Korean drama '' Dream.'' Career Son first came to fame when she appeared in a commercial for an MP3 player alongside Poppin' Hyun Joon. Prior to her debut, MSN Japan made a video documentary capturing her pre-debut training and rehearsals, which attracted 480,000 visitors in five days.
