Midnattssol
''Midnattssol'' (french: Jour polaire, en, midnight sun) is a Swedish- French police procedural series which aired for one season on Sveriges Television on 2016. As ''Midnight Sun'', the series debuted on Australia's SBS on January 12, 2017. Anders Harnesk (Gustaf Hammarsten) and Kahina Zadi (Leïla Bekhti) are the two main protagonists. The pair investigate the death of a French national in far north Sweden, near Kiruna. It is the first in a series of mysterious, ritualistic killings. Yasmine Leïla Bekhti (born 6 March 1984) is a French film and television actress. She is best known for her roles in ''Tout ce qui brille'' (2007) and, in 2006, ''Paris, je t'aime'' and ''Sheitan (film), Sheitan''. Early life Bekhti was born in 1984 in Issy-les-Moulineaux to an Algerian family from Sidi Bel-Abbes. She is the youngest of three children. Richard Claes Erik Ulfsäter (born 1 September 1975) is a Swedish actor perhaps mostly known for his role as "Steffen" in the SVT comedy series '' Playa del Sol''. The Author Agneta Ulfsäter-Troell is his aunt. And his father is a cousin of Björn Ulvaeus. In 2009, Swedish magazine Dorian named Ulfsäter as Sweden's sexiest man. In an interview with the magazine, Ulfsäter confirmed that he had been arrested for possessing a small quantity of cocaine in his home. The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs in the summer months in places north of the Arctic Circle or south of the Antarctic Circle, when the Sun remains visible at the local midnight. When the midnight sun is seen in the Arctic, the Sun appears to move from left to right, but in Antarctica the equivalent apparent motion is from right to left.
