Michelle McManus
Michelle McManus (born 8 May 1980) is a Scottish singer, columnist, and television presenter who won the second and final series of the UK talent show ''Pop Idol'' in 2003. McManus's debut single, " All This Time", entered the UK Singles Chart at number one in January 2004. Her only album to date, '' The Meaning of Love'', was released in February 2004 and debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart. Later that year, BMG dropped McManus from the label, and in 2007 she founded her own record label, McMannii Records. Later that year, McManus released a promotional single, "Just For You" from her then upcoming second album ''Dancing to a Different Beat'', which was scheduled for release in 2008, but was eventually shelved. From 2009 to 2011, McManus was a co-presenter of STV's lifestyle magazine show '' The Hour'', originally alongside Stephen Jardine and later Tam Cowan. ''The Meaning of Love'' is the debut studio album by Scotland, Scottish singer Michelle McManus, issued by BMG Rights Management, BMG. Released on 16 February 2004, it debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart and featured two singles: the number one UK Singles Chart entry "All This Time (Michelle McManus song), All This Time", and the The Meaning of Love (Michelle McManus song), title track, which peaked at number sixteen. Critics derided the record for its production values and songwriting quality; multiple reviewers also found McManus's singing voice to be unimpressive. The album was deemed a commercial failure by Sony BMG, who dropped McManus from the label. The album has since received various "worst album" accolades. Peter Alan Waterman, (born 15 January 1947) is an English record producer, songwriter, radio and club DJ, television presenter, president of Coventry Bears rugby league club and a keen railway enthusiast.
