Michael Jacob
Michael Jacob (born 2 August 1980) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays in the centre-forward position on the Wexford senior hurling team. Early life Michael Jacob was born in Oulart, County Wexford in 1980. He was born into a family that had a strong association with Gaelic games, as his father, Mick Jacob, won both Leinster and All-Ireland medals in hurling with Wexford. Jacob was educated locally and later attended Enniscorthy CBS. It was here that his skill at the game of hurling was developed and he won an All-Ireland "B" Colleges' medal with the school. Jacob later studied at the Waterford Institute of Technology, where he won two Fitzgibbon Cup medals. Playing career Club Jacob, along with his brother Rory, plays his club hurling with the famous Oulart–The Ballagh club in Wexford. Oulart–The Ballagh GAA
Oulart–The Ballagh is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Wexford, Ireland. The club takes its players primarily from the area around the villages of Oulart and The Ballagh. The club has won the Wexford Senior Hurling Championship on 13 occasions, most recently in 2016. Their main rivals are Buffers Alley. Former hurlers, associated with the club, include former Wexford manager Liam Dunne and current Oulart–The Ballagh senior manager Martin Storey. Kilkenny GAA
The Kilkenny County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (Kilkenny GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Cill Chainnigh) is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Kilkenny. Leinster ( ; ga, Laighin or ) is one of the provinces of Ireland, situated in the southeast and east of Ireland. The province comprises the ancient Kingdoms of Meath, Leinster and Osraige. Keith Rossiter (born 16 January 1984) is an Irish hurling, hurler and currently a selector with the Wexford senior hurling team.
