Michael Ford (politician)
Michael Douglas Ford (born Michael Douglas Aldo Ford Stirpe on March 25, 1994) is a Canadian politician who has been the Ontario minister of citizenship and multiculturalism since June 24, 2022. A member of the Progressive Conservative (PC) Party, he has represented York South—Weston in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since 2022. Ford previously served on Toronto City Council from 2016 to 2022. First elected as a school trustee in 2014, he later won a 2016 by-election for the council seat which was vacated upon the death of Councillor Rob Ford, before he was elected as a member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in 2022. He is the nephew of Doug Ford, the premier of Ontario and Rob Ford, the former mayor of Toronto. The Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism is a ministry of the Government of Ontario that is responsible for citizenship and multiculturalism issues in the Canadian province of Ontario. From 2014 to 2016, it was known as the Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade, then the ministry was reorganized and it reverted to its prior name. The Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration was dissolved in 2018, and its functions were taken over by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. In 2021, the ministry was reintroduced as the Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism. A neoplasm () is a type of abnormal and excessive growth of tissue. The process that occurs to form or produce a neoplasm is called neoplasia. The growth of a neoplasm is uncoordinated with that of the normal surrounding tissue, and persists in growing abnormally, even if the original trigger is removed. The 2014 Toronto municipal election was held on October 27, 2014, to elect a mayor and 44 city councillors in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Etobicoke
