Meryem Çalık
Meryem Boz (born 3 February 1988) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is and plays as an opposite . She was chosen MVP of the CEV Tokyo Volleyball European Qualification 2020. Career Boz played for Fenerbahçe in the 2012 FIVB Club World Championship held in Doha, Qatar and helped her team win the bronze medal after defeating Puerto Rico's Lancheras de Cataño 3–0. She also won Challenge Cup with Bursa BBSK in 2015. For the 2016/17 season, she played for the Turkish club Seramiksan. She will be playing as opposite spiker for Fenerbahçe in the 2022/23 season. 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. The tournament was co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Georgia, and was held between 22 September and 1 October 2017. Serbia defeated Netherlands in the final to capture their second european title. Turkey defeated Azerbaijan for the bronze medal. Tijana Bošković from Serbia was elected the MVP. Qualification Format The tournament is played in two different stages. In the first stage, the sixteen participants are divided in four groups of four teams each. 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament. The 2021 version of VNL was scheduled to start earlier than the previous edition due to the 2020 Summer Olympics in July. The competition was held in between May and June 2021, and the final round took place in Rimini Fiera, Rimini, Italy. United States won their third title in the competition, outlasting Brazil in thrilling four sets on the final. Turkey grabbed the bronze medal after sweeping Japan in three sets. Michelle Bartsch-Hackley from USA claimed her second MVP title of the tournament. Qualification In the 2019 edition sixteen teams qualified for the competition.
