Merville, officially Barangay Merville, is a barangay in Parañaque, is part of Parañaque's 16 barangays, and is part of District 2. It is a gated residential community in the northeast of the city, which was created on April 3, 1978 out of Barangay La Huerta under Presidential Decree No. 1325. Moonwalk, officially Barangay Moonwalk, is one of Parañaque's 16 barangays and is part of Parañaque's 2nd district. It was created under Presidential Decree No. 1321 signed in by President Ferdinand Marcos on April 3, 1978, From the latest population census of The Philippines (2015) Moonwalk has a population of 67,723. Moonwalk is a residential place and has seen commercial growth with 2,120 business establishments and its total road network is believed to be around 38.1 km. Metro Manila is divided into seventeen primary local government units (LGU) that consist of sixteen cities and one municipality. Each city and municipality is governed by an elected mayor and is divided into several villages or barangays (formerly called barrios) headed by an elected barangay captain. Barangay populations range in size from under 1,000 to over 200,000. As of the 2015 census, the total population of Metro Manila was 12,877,253. Pasay
Pasay, officially the City of Pasay ( fil, Lungsod ng Pasay; ), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines.
