Dreamend is an American, Savannah-based shoegazer musical group signed to Graveface Records, whose music is characterized by textured guitar work and prominent drums and percussion. Song styles range from post-rock to bluegrass. The group has been compared to groups such as Mono and Explosions in the Sky. Papercuts is an American indie pop project centered on San Francisco songwriter/producer Jason Robert Quever. History Papercuts is the musical project of California singer-songwriter and producer Jason Robert Quever, and various guest musicians. Quever was born and raised in Humboldt, California, spending a number of his early years in a commune, then moving to the Bay Area at the age of 10. Both his parents died in his teen years. After moving to San Francisco and studying at SFSU, Quever started Papercuts as a solo project, releasing his first proper album "Mockingbird" in 2004. In 2007 came the critically acclaimed "Can't Go Back", followed by 2009's "You Can Have What You Want", both on Gnomonsong Records. 2011's "Fading Parade" was released by Sub Pop records, which was followed by a period where Quever focused on producing. Milagres (band)
Milagres is an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, NY. The band was founded in 2006 under a different name and lineup, and independently released an album, Seven Summits, in 2008. After some lineup changes and regional touring, the band changed its name to Milagres and began writing and recording what would later become their second record. The band signed to the music label Kill Rock Stars in Spring of 2011, and released their national debut, Glowing Mouth, in September 2011. Milagres embarked on several national tours of the US, UK and Europe in support of Glowing Mouth. Kill Rock Stars released the band's follow-up, Violent Light, in 2014. Menace Beach (band)
Menace Beach are a five-piece indie rock band from Leeds, England. Ryan Needham from the band, is also a member of Yard Act. Biography Menace Beach were formed by core members Ryan Needham (currently the bass player in Leeds band Yard Act) and Liza Violet (formerly of Department M) in 2012. Although the band have a revolving cast of musicians, it has invariably included Nestor Matthews (previously of Sky Larkin), Matt Spalding and Nick Chantler (of Seize The Chair). Le Loup was an American indie band founded in September 2006, in Washington, D.C. by Sam Simkoff (keyboard/banjo). The band also includes Christian Ervin (computer), Michael Ferguson (guitar), Dan Ryan (bass), Robert Sahm (drums) and Jim Thomson (guitar). Their name is French for "The Wolf". Hooray For Earth
Hooray for Earth is an American band and recording project founded by composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Noel Heroux. While the first Hooray for Earth live show occurred in 2005, self-released home recordings date back to 2003. The group played frequently in Boston, garnering attention from local publications. Heroux relocated to Manhattan in August 2007, generally pulling band activity toward NYC. On February 26, 2008, Dopamine Records released the six-track ''Cellphone'' EP. In 2009, a second EP, ''Momo'', was released by eMusic Selects. Dovecote Records later re-issued ''Momo'' (June 1, 2010) including an additional track, new artwork and CD/Vinyl formats. Haley McCallum (born 1983), professionally known as Haley and formerly Haley Bonar, is a Canadian-born American singer and songwriter who was raised in Rapid City, South Dakota.
