Mellowdrone
Mellowdrone is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1999. Biography Mellowdrone originated as Jonathan Bates' solo project, but expanded to a full band with Tony DeMatteo (guitar and keyboards), Scott Ellis (drums) and Greg Griffith (bass). Griffith and Ellis were later replaced by Camila Gutierrez and Brian Borg respectively. The band's music encompasses a range of styles from lo-fi, indie rock and experimental. Their debut album, ''Box'', was released in 2006 on Columbia Records. Shortly after, Gutierrez formed Uh Huh Her and left Mellowdrone. The band continued as a three-piece, with Bates taking over as bassist. Their follow-up album, ''Angry Bear,'' was released in 2009 on Coming Home Records. Mellowdrone's music has appeared on several television shows, including ''Project Runway'', '' Six Feet Under'', and ''Cane''. Camila Grey
Camila Grey (born Camila Cristinna Gutierrez; January 6, 1983) is an American musician currently performing in the duo Uh Huh Her and also the supergroup Summer Moon composed of Nikolai Fraiture (The Strokes), Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction), and Noah Harmon ( Airborne Toxic Event). Grey was formerly the bassist and keyboardist for the band Mellowdrone. She has also worked with such artists as Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, Big Black Delta, Tricky, Linda Perry, Kanye West, Melissa Auf der Maur, Hans Zimmer, Kelly Osbourne, and Adam Lambert. Early life Camila Grey was born Camila Cristinna Gutierrez in Dallas, Texas, but grew up in Austin. Grey began playing piano as a child and attended the Suzuki music school. She later attended Berklee College of Music where she met Mellowdrone bandmate Jonathan Bates, who was also enrolled. Big Black Delta
Big Black Delta is a solo project of Mellowdrone vocalist/bassist Jonathan Bates. History Bates began the project in 2010 after becoming frustrated with the logistics of a band. Thanks to help from Alessandro Cortini, of Nine Inch Nails, he discovered the possibilities of producing music on a laptop and quickly set about building a new sound. In 2013, Bates released his self-titled album, ''Big Black Delta''. The album contained a mixture of fresh material and songs released on ''BBDLP1''. The album was released on Bates' own label, Masters of Bates, and was inspired by the soundtracks of Blade Runner and Solaris. It was positively received by critics and was compared by one reviewer to music from Muse and The Joy Formidable. Remixes of songs from the album have since come from Jimmy Edgar, John Tejada, Azari & III and Martyn. History

Modwheelmood formed in 1998, initially as a project entitled Gift?, which later developed into a full music project after Cortini's experimentation with "heavy loops and haunting synth passes integrated with melodic songwriting" and through collaboration with Hillström. Modwheelmood are named after the mod wheel, a controller typically mounted on the left hand of the keyboard.

Uh Huh Her is an American indie/rock/electropop band that was formed in January 2007. The band's name came from an album by artist PJ Harvey, titled '' Uh Huh Her''. Background Camila Grey (lead vocals, guitar, keyboard), former member of the lo-fi rock band Mellowdrone, had not released any solo material prior to joining Uh Huh Her; however, she had played bass and keyboards for a variety of artists, such as Dr. Dre, Melissa Auf der Maur, Busta Rhymes, and Kelly Osbourne. She was also a member of Adam Lambert's live band (keyboardist). The Neighbourhood (sometimes rendered as "THE NBHD") is an American rock band formed in Newbury Park, California, in 2011.
