Melina Aslanidou
Melina Aslanidou ( el, Μελίνα Ασλανίδου; born Symela Saraslanidou, el, Συμέλα Σαρασλανίδου, links=no; 28 August 1974) is a Greek singer. Early life Melina Aslanidou was born on 28 August 1974 in Stuttgart, West Germany from Greek parents. Later, she moved with her family to Greece and grew up in Paralimni of Giannitsa, Greece. Career From 2000 to 2002 she was a member of the band ''Oi Apenanti''. She released an album with the band, in 2002, titled ''Mikri Agapi''. Since then Aslanidou has been on a solo career. In 2003 she released her debut solo album, called ''To Perasma''. Her second studio album ''Paihnidi Einai'' was released in 2005. In 2007, she released a CD single with three songs named "Psila Takounia" which were not included later in any studio album. In 2008 she released a compilation album titled ''Sto Dromo''. Éntekhno
Éntekhno ( el, έντεχνο, , pl: ''éntekhna'' 'tragoudia'' is orchestral music with elements from Greek folk rhythm and melody. Its lyrical themes are often based on the work of famous Greek poets. Éntekhno arose in the late 1950s, drawing on rebetiko's westernization by Vassilis Tsitsanis and Manolis Chiotis. Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hatzidakis were the most popular early composers of éntekhno song cycles. Origins As opposed to other forms of Greek urban folk music, éntekhno concerts would often take place outside a hall or a night club in the open air. Giannitsa
Giannitsa ( el, Γιαννιτσά , in English also Yannitsa, Yenitsa) is the largest city in the regional unit of Pella and the capital of the Pella municipality, in the region of Central Macedonia in northern Greece. The municipal unit Giannitsa has an area of 208.105 km2. Its population is 31,983 people (2011 census). Antenna, better known as ANT1, is a television network airing in Greece. The alternate spelling is wordplay in Greek; ''ena'' (ένα) is the Greek number ''1'' (one), thus ''ANT1'' is pronounced the same as ''Antenna'' (Αντέννα). The Voice Of Greece
''The Voice of Greece'' is a Greek television talent show created by John de Mol and based on the concept ''The Voice of Holland''. It is part of an international series. It began airing on ANT1 on January 10, 2014, and the final of second season on June 21, 2015. The third season premiered on November 16, 2016, on Skai TV. It also premiered the same day in Cyprus on Sigma TV. There are four different stages to the show: producers' auditions, blind auditions, battle phase and live shows.
