''Me 4 U'' is the debut studio album by Jamaican singer Omi. It was released on 16 October 2015 through Ultra Music and Columbia Records. Three singles were released from the album: "Cheerleader" (remixed by Felix Jaehn), "Hula Hoop" and "Drop in the Ocean" (featuring Swedish DJ AronChupa). The first single "Cheerleader" became a massive global success in 2015, reached number one in 20 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and Germany. Omar Samuel Pasley (born 3 September 1986), better known by his stage name OMI ( ), is a Jamaican singer. He is best known for "Cheerleader", a worldwide hit for him in a remixed version by German DJ Felix Jaehn. He is currently signed to Ultra Music, a part of Sony Music, and released his debut album ''Me 4 U'' in 2015. Career Beginnings Omar Samuel Pasley was born in the parish of Clarendon. He established in Kingston, after being discovered by the dancehall impresario Clifton Dillon (known as Specialist) and signed to Oufah, an independent Jamaican label. Arash Pournouri (born 28 August 1981 in Iran), also known as Ash Pournouri, is an Iranian-Swedish record manager, record producer, songwriter and record executive. While he is most known as the former manager for Avicii, their artist-manager relationship ended in December 2016. Arash is also known for co-writing the lyrics to Cazzette's song, “Beam Me Up”.
