Arash Pournouri
Arash Pournouri (born 28 August 1981 in Iran), also known as Ash Pournouri, is an Iranian-Swedish record manager, record producer, songwriter and record executive. While he is most known as the former manager for Avicii, their artist-manager relationship ended in December 2016. Arash is also known for co-writing the lyrics to Cazzette's song, “Beam Me Up”. He owns the music label PRMD and the booking agency At Night Management. He appeared in the documentary film Avicii: True Stories. In 2014, Pournouri was awarded as MVP (Most Valuable Person) at the Denniz Pop Awards founded by Denniz Pop. He along with Spotify founder Daniel Ek are the creators of the tech convention Symposium. Pournouri studied law in high school and has also owned and run several restaurant and bars in Norway and arranged club nights in Stockholm. Swedish Iranians or Swedish Persians consist of people of Iranian nationality who have settled in Sweden, as well as Swedish residents and citizens of Iranian heritage. As of 2019, there were 80,136 residents of Sweden born in Iran, as well as 40,883 born in Sweden with at least one Iranian-born parent. Terminology Swedish-Iranian is used interchangeably with Swedish-Persian, partly due to the fact that, in the Western world, Iran was known as "Persia". On the Nowruz of 1935, Reza Shah Pahlavi asked foreign delegates to use the term Iran, the endonym of the country used since the Sasanian Empire, in formal correspondence. Since then the use of the word "Iran" has become more common in the Western countries. Grand Hôtel (Stockholm)
Grand Hôtel is a five-star hotel in Stockholm. It was founded by Frenchman, Jean-François Régis Cadier, in 1872. It opened on 14 June 1874 at the same time as the Grand Hotel in Oslo; all the Scandinavian capitals have a major hotel called 'Grand Hotel'. The Grand Hôtel is located next to the Nationalmuseum and opposite the Royal Palace and ''Gamla stan'' (the old town).
