The mayor of Cagayan de Oro City ( fil, Punong Lungsod ng Cagayan de Oro) is the head of the local government of the city who elected to three year terms. The Mayor is also the executive head and leads the city's departments in executing the city ordinances and improving public services. Cagayan ( ), officially the Province of Cagayan ( ilo, Probinsia ti Cagayan; ibg, Provinsiya na Cagayan; itv, Provinsiya ya Cagayan; fil, Lalawigan ng Cagayan), is a province in the Philippines located in the Cagayan Valley region, covering the northeastern tip of Luzon. Its capital is the city of Tuguegarao. It is about northwest of Manila, and includes the Babuyan Islands to the north. Constantino "Tinnex" Galagnara Jaraula (born June 20, 1937) is a Filipino politician who served as Mayor of Cagayan de Oro from 2007 to 2010.
