A bumps race is a form of rowing race in which a number of boats chase each other in single file, each crew attempting to catch and ‘bump’ the boat in front without being caught by the boat behind. The 2015 Lent Bumps saw CUCBC deciding to cut one division's worth of places (two thirds of the M4 division and one third of the W3 division) compared to recent years.
