Matupá Airport
Orlando Villas-Bôas Regional Airport is the airport serving Matupá, Brazil. The airport is named after the oldest of the Villas-Bôas brothers, Brazilian activists who in 1961 succeeded in getting the entire upper Xingu legally protected. This was the first and largest indigenous protected area in all South America and prototype for dozens of similar reserves in the continent. Central-West Region, Brazil
The Central-West or Center-West Region of Brazil ( pt, Região Centro-Oeste do Brasil; ) is composed of the states of Goiás, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul; along with Distrito Federal (Federal District), where Brazil's national capital, Brasília, is situated. Mato Grosso ( – lit. "Thick Bush") is one of the states of Brazil, the third largest by area, located in the Central-West region. The state has 1.66% of the Brazilian population and is responsible for 1.9% of the Brazilian GDP.
