''MasterChef Asia'' is a regional competitive cooking game show based on the original British show ''MasterChef''. The show is produced by Lifetime Asia. A total of 15 home cooks from various regions across Asia (China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam) competed in the first season of MasterChef Asia. The show is judged by Hong Kong-born, culinary chef Susur Lee; 3-Michelin starred chef Bruno Ménard; and Singapore-born Audra Morrice, a '' MasterChef Australia'' finalist. ''MasterChef Indonesia'' is an Indonesian competitive cooking reality show based on the original British series of the same name, open to amateur and home chefs. Produced by Endemol Shine Group, it debuted on 1 May 2011 on RCTI and has nine seasons to date. Format ''MasterChef'' Indonesia airs two days a week from Saturday to Sunday. The competition takes place in the RCTI's studio in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta which is known as ''MasterChef Gallery'' and includes a large kitchen area with several cooking stations which is overlooked by a balcony, a well-stocked pantry, and a freezer. At the audition round, the contestants have to prepare their mainstay dish for around 30 minutes. Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996. Telok Ayer Market
Lau Pa Sat (), also known as Telok Ayer Market ( ms, Pasar Telok Ayer; ), is a historic building located within the Downtown Core in the Central Area of Singapore. It was first built in 1824 as a fish market on the waterfront serving the people of early colonial Singapore and rebuilt in 1838. It was then relocated and rebuilt at the present location in 1894. It is currently a food court with stalls selling a variety of local cuisine.
