Massacre Records
Massacre Records is an independent record label based in Abstatt, Germany, that specializes in bands of the heavier genres of metal. The label was founded in 1991 by Torsten Hartmann. Connected to Massacre Records is the marketing and music wholesale Metal Merchant, the sub-labels Blue Rose Records and Gutter Records for the singer/songwriter genre and for German metal respectively and the music publisher Sylvian Music. Massacre Records also distributes the albums of the gothic metal label MCM Music. From 1995 to 2000, Massacre Records maintained the sub-label Swanlake Records for its gothic metal and folk metal output. The best-known artists published on Swanlake were Skyclad, Atrocity, Theatre of Tragedy and Liv Kristine. The company's distribution deals usually cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland (G/A/S). The headquarters of the company are located in Hamburg, Germany. Coronatus
Coronatus is a German gothic metal band, formed in Ludwigsburg in 1999. Fronted by two female singers with contrasting voices and styles, the band has released ten studio albums since 2007. ''Recreatio Carminis'' and ''Secrets of Nature'' are the only albums so far to feature three female singers. Band history Founded in 1999 by vocalist Georgios Grigoriadis and drummer Mats Kurth, Coronatus released its debut single ''Von Engeln nur'' in 2002. 5 Star Grave
5 Star Grave is an Italian heavy metal band which formed in 2005 and currently signed to Sliptrick Records. As of 2017, they have released three albums, one EP and one single. History 5 Star Grave was founded by Thierry Bertone and Gabriele Lingua in 2005. In a couple of months Alessandro Blengino, Hervè De Zulian, Claudio Ravinale (Disarmonia Mundi) and Andrea Minolfi joined the band. The first name of the band was Ground Zero and with this name an EP was recorded in 2006: ''The Zero Hour''. Viper Solfa is a Norwegian extreme / gothic metal band from Kristiansand, Norway. It was founded in 2013 by Ronny Thorsen, once the symphonic black metal band Trail of Tears was separated. Raunchy is a Danish metal band, formed in 1992. They have released six studio albums, and are currently signed to Massacre Records. History Raunchy was founded in 1992 by Jesper Tilsted, Jesper Kvist, and Morten Toft Hansen, who started playing mostly covers from bands such as Metallica and Slayer. Lars Vognstrup and Lars Christensen joined the band in 1994, and in 1995 they record their first demo, at Borsing Recordings in Ã…rhus. The song "Space Story" from the demo was later released on the compilation CD ''Extremity Rising vol. 1'', a rock compilation from Serious Entertainment. Jotnar is a Spanish melodic death metal band founded in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) in 2008. Hatriot is an American thrash metal band formed in 2011 by former singer Steve "Zetro" Souza (Exodus) and guitarist Kosta Varvatakis. Eternal Tears of Sorrow (commonly abbreviated to EToS) is a Finnish symphonic/melodic death metal band formed in Pudasjärvi.
