Koukaki ( el, Κουκάκι or , ) is a southeast neighbourhood of the Municipality of Athens, Greece. Location The general area of Koukaki borders from the north with Makrygianni neighbourhood and the historical district of Plaka (the historical neighbourhood of Athens), the Municipality of Kallithea and Petralona neighbourhood from the south, Neos Kosmos neighbourhood from the east, and Filopappou and Thisio neighbourhoods from the west. It was directed by Alekos Sakellarios and stars Nikos Stavridis, Mimis Fotopoulos, Maro Kontou and Martha Vourtsi. Plot Orestis ( Nikos Stavridis) is a jealous husband and always appears to be suspicious of his partner. He stops in a cafe and upon finding yellow gloves belonging to wife Rena (Maro Kontou), he suspects her of cheating. He heads to his house in order to ask Rena if the gloves are hers. The situation is resolved and he is embarrassed to find out that they are not Rena's and that he was enraged over nothing. Before he is calmed down, he suspects Rena of having cheated on him with Moustakias (Mimis Fotopoulos) until it is revealed the gloves belonged to the servant Toula (Martha Vourtsi). In Greek mythology, Ismene (; grc, Ἰσμήνη, ''Ismēnē'') is the daughter and half-sister of Oedipus, daughter and granddaughter of Jocasta, and sister of Antigone, Eteocles, and Polynices. She appears in several plays of Sophocles: at the end of ''Oedipus Rex'', in ''Oedipus at Colonus'' and in ''Antigone''. She also appears at the end of Aeschylus' ''Seven Against Thebes''. ''Antigone'' ( el, Aντιγόνη, ''Antigone'') is a 1961 Greek film adaptation of the Ancient Greek tragedy ''Antigone'' by Sophocles. It stars Irene Papas in the title role and was directed by Yorgos Javellas. The film follows the story of the play closely, but ends differently – instead of Creon retiring back to the palace as in the play, the film ends with Creon relinquishing his kingship and exiling himself out of Thebes.
