My Friend Lefterakis
''O filos mou o Lefterakis'' (Greek: el, Ο φίλος μου ο Λευτεράκης, Alternate translations: ''My Friend, Lefterakis'' or ''Lefterakis, My Friend'') is a 1963 Greek comedy film starring Dinos Iliopoulos, Kostas Voutsas and Maro Kontou. Plot Thodoros (Dinos Iliopoulos) is an affluent civil engineer married to Fofo (Maro Kontou). Thodoros has invented an "out-of-town friend", Lefterakis, who he claims is visiting Athens every time Thodoros wants to have a night out with his mistress. One evening, while in the middle of a card game with his friend Thanassis ( Giorgos Konstantinou), he starts explaining his scam to him. However, they are interrupted by the maid, who announces that Lefterakis has just arrived from Patras. Alekos Sakellarios ( el, Αλέκος Σακελλάριος, 13 November 1913 in Athens – 28 August 1991 in Athens) was a Greece, Greek writer and a director. Manolis Hiotis
Manolis Chiotis (Greek: Μανώλης Χιώτης; March 21, 1921 – March 20, 1970) was a Greek rebetiko and laiko composer, singer, and bouzouki player.English translation He is considered one of the greatest bouzouki soloists of all time. He popularised the four-course bouzouki (tetrachordo) and introduced the guitar-like tuning, who found it better suited to the kind of virtuoso playing he was famous for. Chiotis had other successes.
