Marko Mitrović (footballer, Born 1992)
Marko Mitrović (born 27 June 1992) is a Swedish football player, who plays as a striker for Portuguese club Beira-Mar. Mitrović came through the ranks of Chelsea's Academy, and was part of their victorious Youth Cup side in 2010, and included a goal in the final against Aston Villa. He moved up to the reserves thereafter, but never made a first-team appearance. He made his professional debut for Brescia in a Coppa Italia match against Cremonese. Early life Mitrović was born in Högaholm in Almvik, a neighbourhood of Malmö, Sweden. He is of Serbian descent. He has a younger brother, Alexandar, and an older sister, Christina. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. The 2018–19 Serbian SuperLiga was the thirteenth season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. Red Star was the defending champions from the previous season. The 2017–18 Danish Superliga season was the 28th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. Copenhagen are the defending champions. Teams Esbjerg fB finished as loser in the relegation play-offs in the 2016–17 season and was relegated to the 2017–18 1st Division along with Viborg FF who lost their relegation play-off as well. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. The 2016–17 Danish Superliga season was the 27th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. The season was the first with a new league structure in which 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league was split up in championship and relegation play-offs. The new structure was inspired by the one used by the Belgian First Division A and was approved by the Danish FA, Dansk Boldspil-Union, on 28 June 2015. The fixtures were announced on 6 June 2016. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. The 2015–16 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, is the sixtieth season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2015 with the first matches of the season and ended in May 2016 with the finals of the promotion/relegation play-offs, also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2015–16 Eredivisie. This season was the last where promotion and relegation was optional. No club was relegated to the new third-tier division Tweede Divisie (Second Division). The 2013–14 Serie B (known as the Serie B Eurobet for sponsorship reasons) was the 82nd season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 15 of which were returning from the 2012–13 season, 4 of which were promoted from Lega Pro Prima Divisione, and three relegated from Serie A.
