Marko Ljubinković
Marko Ljubinković ( sr-Cyrl, Марко Љубинковић; born 7 December 1981) is a Serbian former footballer. Career He started his career at Red Star Belgrade youth, but he did not play for the team. In 2001, he joined Radnički Kragujevac. In 2006, he was bought by FC Vaslui. At first, he played as a defensive midfielder, and he scored only 2 goals in the 2006–07 season. However, Mircea Rednic wanted him on his team, offering 1.5 million dollars for Ljubinković and Ștefan Mardare, but Adrian Porumboiu declined the offer. In the next season, Dorinel Munteanu took Ljubinković's role in the field, letting him a free role. He scored in the opening match, a 2–2 draw against UTA Arad. He was also, the first player who scored in the new championship. In the second game of the season, he failed to score, but he was one of the most dangerous Vaslui player in the 2–0 win against the current champions Dinamo București. 2009–10 FC Vaslui Season
The 2009–10 season is the eighth season in FC Vaslui's existence, and its fifth in a row in Liga I. Having finished in the top six last season, FC Vaslui is qualified for the Third qualifying round in Europa League. 2008–09 FC Vaslui Season
The 2008–09 season is FC Vaslui's 7th season of its existence, and its 4th in a row, in Liga I. Because it finished 7th, FC Vaslui played on UEFA Intertoto Cup in the third round. FC Vaslui passed by Neftchi Baku, and it qualified for the 3rd preliminary round of UEFA Cup. In the play-off, it was eliminated by Slavia Prague, because of the away goal rule, being the only Romanian team, who was eliminated, without losing in UEFA Cup that season. In the championship, they started perfectly, after a 1–0 win against FC Steaua București and a 3–1 win against arch rivals FC Politehnica Iaşi (1945), Poli Iaşi. 2007–08 FC Vaslui Season
The 2007–08 season is FC Vaslui's 6th season of its existence, and its 3rd in a row, in Liga I. In the summer, Adrian Porumboiu revealed that the new coach would be Dorinel Munteanu. He also announced that the team's objective that season, would be a European Cup. FC Vaslui made only 2 transfers in the summer, Bălace and Matei. Also, Petar Jovanović and the team captain Sorin Frunză returned from their loans. FC Vaslui started the season very well, in the second Matchday, beating Liga I champions, Dinamo on their own field, with 2–0. For 2 Matchdays, FC Vaslui was on the 1st place in Liga I. But during the first half, team fatigue appeared, and performance declined. However, in the last match in 2007, FC Vaslui beat once again Dinamo, with 2 beautiful goals scored by Sorin Frunză. 2006–07 FC Vaslui Season
The 2006–07 season was FC Vaslui's 5th season of its existence, and its second in a row in Liga I. With only 8 players from the previous season, FC Vaslui started the season with a new coach, and without a sponsor. A few players from the relegated FCM Bacău, were signed, with also a few foreign players. The new coach was Gheorghe Mulţescu. The team started very bad, and it seemed the previous season, will repeat. However, after a 1–1 draw with Poli Iasi, Mulţescu was sacked and the new coach was named Viorel Hizo. Also, in the same time, Adrian Porumboiu revealed, that he did not leave FC Vaslui, and he was sponsoring it in secret. Hizo made one of the strongest team, in that moment, taking the team, from 17th place, to 7th place in the end of the first half of the season. Marius Lăcătuș
Marius Mihai Lăcătuș (; born 5 April 1964) is a Romanian football coach and former professional footballer. He is by far the most successful footballer ever to play for Steaua București and was part of their European Cup victory in 1986. Lăcătuș is the all-time top scorer for Steaua with 16 goals in European competitions. On 7 July 2021, Steaua retired his shirt number 7 at the inauguration match of the new Steaua Stadium. FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders (Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later. Fotbal Club Politehnica Timișoara (), commonly known as Politehnica Timișoara or simply Poli Timișoara, was a Romanian football club from Timișoara, Timiș County, established in 1921 and dissolved in 2012.
