2006–07 FC Vaslui Season
The 2006–07 season was FC Vaslui's 5th season of its existence, and its second in a row in Liga I. With only 8 players from the previous season, FC Vaslui started the season with a new coach, and without a sponsor. A few players from the relegated FCM Bacău, were signed, with also a few foreign players. The new coach was Gheorghe Mulţescu. The team started very bad, and it seemed the previous season, will repeat. However, after a 1–1 draw with Poli Iasi, Mulţescu was sacked and the new coach was named Viorel Hizo. Also, in the same time, Adrian Porumboiu revealed, that he did not leave FC Vaslui, and he was sponsoring it in secret. Hizo made one of the strongest team, in that moment, taking the team, from 17th place, to 7th place in the end of the first half of the season. But because the most important two players left the team, in the winter break Marius Croitoru and Viorel Frunză, the team did not play as same as the end of the first half of the season. CS Sporting Juniorul Vaslui (), commonly known as Sporting Vaslui, Juniorul Vaslui or simply as Vaslui, is a Romanian professional football club based in Vaslui, Vaslui County, founded in 2002 and re-founded in 2014. Marko Ljubinković
Marko Ljubinković ( sr-Cyrl, Марко Љубинковић; born 7 December 1981) is a Serbian former footballer. Career He started his career at Red Star Belgrade youth, but he did not play for the team. In 2001, he joined Radnički Kragujevac. In 2006, he was bought by FC Vaslui. At first, he played as a defensive midfielder, and he scored only 2 goals in the 2006–07 season. However, Mircea Rednic wanted him on his team, offering 1.5 million dollars for Ljubinković and Ștefan Mardare, but Adrian Porumboiu declined the offer. Vasile Buhăescu
Vasile Buhăescu (born 2 February 1988) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a striker. Club career He started his career at the second team of the Vaslui, FCM Huși, but in October 2005, he was selected by Mircea Rednic to play in the first team. His first match was against Pandurii Târgu-Jiu, and he was seen then as a great star. In his first season he failed to score a goal. In the next season, he started playing more, and at the final season, he played 24 games.
