Marián Vajda
Marián Vajda (; born 24 March 1965) is a Slovak professional tennis coach and former player. He is the former head coach of Novak Djokovic, coaching Djokovic almost his entire professional career, winning 85 titles together (out of the 92 won by Djokovic). Vajda is the most successful coach in the history of tennis in terms of Grand Slam titles winning 20 Grand Slam trophies with Novak Djokovic. Career Vajda was born in Považská Bystrica. He was a member of the Olympic Team of Czechoslovakia, and in 1992 he competed in the Olympic Games of Barcelona, being eliminated in the first round by Gilad Bloom. He reached the third round of the 1991 French Open, won two singles titles and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 34 in September 1987. ATP World Tour Finals
The ATP Finals is the season-ending championship of the ATP Tour. It is the most significant event in the annual ATP calendar after the four majors as it features the top-eight singles players and top-eight doubles teams based on their results throughout the season. The eighth spot is reserved, if needed, for a player or team who won a major in the current year and are ranked from 8th–20th. The tournament is sometimes referred to as a "fifth Grand Slam," due to the prestige that comes with qualifying for and winning the event. Boris Becker
Boris Franz Becker (, ; born 22 November 1967) is a German former world No. 1 tennis player. Becker was successful from the start of his career, winning the Wimbledon Championships at the age of 17. He ultimately won six Grand Slam singles titles: three Wimbledon Championships, two Australian Opens and one US Open. Gilad Bloom ( he, גלעד בלום, born 1 March 1967) is a former professional tennis player from Israel. Bloom trained at the Israel Tennis Centers. His career-high rankings were World No. 61 in singles (in 1990) and World No. 62 in doubles (in 1992). Personal life Bloom grew up in Ramat HaSharon, is Jewish, and is married to Michal Bareket-Bloom. Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). The Friendship Games, or Friendship-84 (russian: Дружба-84, ''Druzhba-84''), was an international multi-sport event held between 2 July and 16 September 1984 in the Soviet Union and eight other socialist states which boycotted the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Although Friendship Games officials denied that the Games were to be a counter-Olympic event to avoid conflicts with the International Olympic Committee, the competition was often dubbed the Eastern Bloc's "alternative Olympics". Some fifty states took part in the competition.
