Mario Vaquerizo
Mario Vaquerizo Caro (Madrid, 5 July 1974) is a Spanish singer-songwriter, journalist, writer, manager and occasional radio and television personality. He became famous with the Spanish reality show ''Alaska y Mario'' on MTV Spain. The reality show depicted his life with his wife, the singer Alaska, whom he married in Las Vegas. He is also known for his appearances on different Spanish radio and TV shows such as ''El Hormiguero'', ''El programa de Ana Rosa'', and ''yu: No te pierdas nada''. Vaquerizo was also the voice of Frankenstein in the Spanish language version of the animated film ''Hotel Transylvania''. Professional career Vaquerizo has worked as a media contributor to Spanish newspapers '' El País'' and ''La Razón'', magazines such as ''Vanidad'', ''Primera Línea'', ''Rolling Stone'', '' In Touch'', and Canal+, a French premium cable channel. Dover (band)
Dover was a Spanish rock band founded in Madrid in 1992. The group was composed of the sisters and group leaders Cristina Llanos (vocals) and Amparo Llanos (lead guitarist), drummer Jesús Antúnez and bassist Samuel Titos. They recorded eight albums, selling around two million copies. They are known for their second album '' Devil Came to Me'', which led them to international fame. In 2006, their sixth album, '' Follow the City Lights'' caused controversy as the style of the group changed from alternative rock to electronic pop. The Goya Awards ( es, Premios Goya) are Spain's main national annual film awards, commonly referred to as the Academy Awards of Spain. The awards were established in 1987, a year after the founding of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences, and the first awards ceremony took place on March 16, 1987 at the Teatro Lope de Vega, Madrid. ''Libertad Digital'' (literally, ''Digital Freedom'') is an advocacy journalism online newspaper edited in Madrid, Spain. It does not follow a particular party line, but it claims to be classic liberal, It is published in Spanish. Origins ''Libertad Digital'' was founded by Federico Jiménez Losantos who continues to be associated with the publication. Its first edition was released on 8 March 2000. It was also promoted by the economist Alberto Recarte, who was the first president of the Libertad Digital society, and Javier Rubio, who was its first editor. ''La Movida Madrileña'' ( en, The Madrilenian Scene) was a countercultural movement that took place mainly in Madrid during the Spanish transition to democracy after the death of dictator Francisco Franco in 1975. Fabio de Miguel (so as: Fanny McNamara and Fabio McNamara; born 8 January 1957, Madrid) is a Spanish artist. He grew up in the Alameda de Osuna area of Madrid.
