Mario Conte (born 20 July 1979 in Treviso) is an Italian politician. He is a member of the right-wing populist Lega Nord and he has served as Mayor of Treviso since 13 June 2018. The current Mayor is Mario Conte, a member of the right-wing populist party Lega Nord, who took office on 13 June 2018. Lega Nord (; acronym: LN), whose complete name is (), is a right-wing, federalist, populist and conservative political party in Italy. In the run-up of the 2018 general election, the party was rebranded as (), without changing its official name.
