Marine City (마린시티, ''marinsiti'') is a residential area in Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea. Most of the buildings are very luxurious skyscrapers. Marine City is built on reclaimed land between the popular areas of Haeundae Beach and Centum City. Haeundae District
Haeundae District ( ko, 해운대구) is a district ( ''gu'') of Busan, South Korea. Haeundae has a population of about 423,000, the most populous district of Busan with 11.6% of the city population, and covers an area of 51.44 km² (19.86 sq mi) in eastern Busan. Haeundae became a division of Busan Metropolitan City in 1976 and attained the status of district in 1980. Haeundae is linked to Busan Subway Line 2 and train stations on the Donghae Nambu railway line. History Haeundae takes its name from the ninth century Silla scholar and poet Choi Chi-won (literary name Haeun, or "Sea and Clouds"), who, according to a historical account, admired the view from the beach and built a pavilion nearby. Haeundae Beach
Haeundae Beach（）is an urban beach in Busan, South Korea. Often dubbed one of the country's most famous and popular beaches, it is located in the eponymous Haeundae District. The beach is open year-round, and various festivals are held there throughout the year. A popular beach event, "Polar Bear Club", during which participants bathe in near freezing water, has been held annually since 1988 in January. Centum City
Centum City () is a major multi-project urban development part of Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea. It is also one of CBDs in Busan Metropolitan City. This site is at the westernmost area of Haeundae-gu in U-1-dong, Jae-song-dong. The site was originally the place of Suyeong Airport, the former airport of Busan. Centum City can be accessed by Busan Metro Line 2 at Centum City Station. Haeundae Doosan We've The Zenith
Haeundae Doosan We've the Zenith is a complex of three residential towers in the Haeundae District of Busan, South Korea, which was completed in 2011. With 80 floors and a height of 301 m, as of 2022, Tower A is the 22nd-tallest residential building in the world, and is the seventh tallest building in South Korea. The Haeundae Doosan We’ve the Zenith consists of three residential buildings, with 70, 75 and 80 stories respectively, comprising 1,788 households in total, and one office building on its site. The total construction work took 48 months from November 2007 to November 2011. Architecture and design The curves from the waves of the Haeundae beach, and Mt.
