Marina Maljković
Marina Maljković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Маљковић; born September 26, 1981) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. She currently serves as a head coach for Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Super League and for the Serbia women's national basketball team. Club career As a daughter of a famous Serbian coach, four-times Euroleague winner Božidar Maljković, Marina Maljković has been given an opportunity to start coaching career at the age of 16, when she became an assistant coach in Abeilles de Rueil, a French club she was playing for at the time. In 2002, she graduated from ''The College for Sports Coaches'' in Belgrade. In the same year, she became the head coach of the female section of KK Ušće, aged 21. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Basketball At The 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's Tournament
The 2016 Summer Olympics women's basketball tournament in Rio de Janeiro, began on 6 August and ended on 20 August 2016. The United States won their eighth total and sixth consecutive gold medal by defeating Spain 101–72 in the final. Serbia captured their first bronze medal after beating France 70–63. WABA League, commonly known as the Adriatic League, is a top-level regional basketball league, featuring female teams from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia. Clubs from Austria, Turkey, Hungary and Italy had their representatives in WABA League in past seasons. Since 2012 a Cadet WABA League and since 2014 Pionir WABA League is also played. Košarkaški klub Vizura ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Визура), commonly referred to as KK Vizura, is a men's basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. Božidar "Boža" Maljković ( sr-cyr, Божидар Божа Маљковић; born 20 April 1952) is a Serbian former professional basketball coach and current president of the Olympic Committee of Serbia. He is one of the most successful basketball coaches in Europe, having won league titles with practically all the clubs he trained; including four EuroLeague titles with three clubs ( Jugoplastika, Limoges, and Panathinaikos).
