Marina Maljković
Marina Maljković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Маљковић; born 26 September 1981) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. She currently serves as a head coach for the Serbia women's national basketball team. Club career As a daughter of Serbian coach and four-time Euroleague winner Božidar Maljković, Marina had the opportunity to start her coaching career early at the age of 16, when she became an assistant coach in Abeilles de Rueil, a French club she was playing for at the time. In 2002, she graduated from ''The College for Sports Coaches'' in Belgrade. In the same year, she became the head coach of the female section of KK Ušće, aged 21. She was the coach of the youth categories, and, at the same time, she managed to lead the senior team as the club advanced from the third to the first league of Serbia and Montenegro in just two years. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Coaches also have the responsibility to improve their team by player development, strategy, and in-game management. Coaches also teach and inspire their team to be their best. EuroBasket Women
EuroBasket Women is a biennial international women's basketball competition held between the nations of FIBA Europe for women's national teams. EuroBasket Women is also used as a qualifying tournament for the FIBA Women's World Cup and also the Olympic Games. The Women's Basketball Super League (, KBSL), also known as the ING Women's Basketball Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the top women's professional basketball division of the Turkish women's basketball league system. WABA League, commonly known as the Adriatic League, is a top-level regional basketball league, featuring female teams from Serbia, Montenegro, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia. The First Women's Basketball League of Serbia (; abbr. ПЖЛС or PŽLS), is a top-tier women's professional basketball league in Serbia. Božidar "Boža" Maljković ( sr-Cyrl, Божидар "Божа" Маљковић; born 20 April 1952) is a Serbian former professional basketball coach and current president of the Olympic Committee of Serbia.
