KK Vizura
Košarkaški klub Vizura ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Визура), commonly referred to as KK Vizura, is a men's basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. The club plays in the 3rd-tier First Regional League of Serbia. Their home arena is the Vizura Sports Center. History The club was formed in 2003 under the name KK Vizura. In 2005, it merged with Ušće to form KK Vizura Ušće. In 2007, the name was switched back to KK Vizura. In August 2009, before the start of the 2009–10 BLS season, the senior team merged with KK Mega Basket. In 2016, the new senior team joined the 4th-tier Second Regional League of Serbia. They got promoted to the 3rd-tier First Regional League of Serbia in the 2019–20 season. First Regional Basketball League (Serbia)
First Men's Regional League ( sr-cyrl, Прва мушка регионална лига, Prva muška regionalna liga), previously First Serbian League, is the men's regional basketball league in Serbia. It is the 3rd-tier of the basketball league system in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and regional basketball associations, consists of four divisions, North, Central, East and West, which have 14 teams each. The first team in every division will be promoted to the Second Basketball League of Serbia. The teams positioned 13th and 14th in the First Regional League will be relegated to a lower-tier league - the Second Regional League. Dragiša Šarić
Dragiša Šarić ( sr-cyr, Драгиша Шарић; 27 January 1961 – 19 July 2008) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. Career Club career Šarić played for several clubs in his country, most notably with the KK Partizan generation that won the 1991–92 Euroleague. Coaching career Šarić was an assistant coach with Partizan. Before that, he was also the head coach of Vizura. Šarić was also player-coach for Úrvalsdeild karla club Skallagrímur from July 1999 until his resignation in November that same year. Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. Sava Lešić ( sr-cyr, Сава Лешић, born February 23, 1988) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Borac Čačak of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League. Professional career Lešić played for youth systems of KK Požarevac, Superfund, and Partizan. His professional career started with Vizura. He then moved to Superfund where he averaged 16.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists over 25 games in the 2008–09 season. Stevan Jelovac ( sr, Стеван Јеловац; 8 July 19895 December 2021) was a Serbian professional basketball player. Professional career Jelovac started his senior career with Vizura. Aleksandar Glintić ( sr-cyrl, Александар Глинтић; born April 19, 1976) is a Serbian former professional basketball player. Playing career Glintić played for the youth system of KK Bosna Royal, Bosna and got promoted to the first team in 1991. Before the Bosnian War, he moved to Belgrade in 1992. Ivica Mavrenski ( sr-cyr, Ивица Мавренски; born 31 March 1966) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. Oliver Popović ( sr-cyr, Оливер Поповић; born 18 March 1970) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player.
