Margita Stefanović
Margita "Magi" Stefanović ( sr-cyr, Маргита "Маги" Стефановић; 1 April 1959 – 18 September 2002) was a Serbian musician best known as a keyboardist of a Yugoslav rock band Ekatarina Velika (EKV). Born in Belgrade, she was the only child of well-known theatre and television director Slavoljub Stefanović-Ravassi and Desanka Nikolić. After finishing elementary school, Margita enrolled in the "Josip Slavenski" music high school from which she graduated as the most talented pianist in her class alongside Ivo Pogorelić. Her impressive school performance led to an offer of further studies at the famed Moscow Conservatory, which she ended up turning down due to family reasons—her mother very much disliked the idea of letting her go to Moscow by herself at such a young age. Ekatarina Velika ( sr-Cyrl, Екатарина Велика, en, Catherine the Great), sometimes referred to as EKV for short, was a Yugoslav rock band from Belgrade, being one of the most successful and influential Yugoslav music acts. Babe ( sr-cyr, Бабе; translation: ''Grandmas'') is a Serbian rock band formed in Belgrade in 1992. Babe was formed as a supergroup, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Žika Milenković (of Bajaga i Instruktori), vocalist and drummer Goran Čavajda "Čavke" (of Električni Orgazam), guitarist Zoran Ilić (of Riblja Čorba) and bass guitarist Bojan Vasić (formerly of Bezobrazno Zeleno). Karlowy Vary was a Croatian and Yugoslav underground post-punk band from Zagreb active in the 1980s all over former Yugoslavia. The first name of the band was "Korowa Bar", and the first singer was Igor Zambelli Slojmun who was replaced with Milan Manojlović Mance, but only after Varja Orlić, dancer and performer entered the bend they got a shape. Her deep almost masculine voice and exceptional movement on the stage made the band famous in these years. They planned to release three albums.
