Mareuil-sur-Ay (, literally ''Mareuil on Aÿ, Ay'') is a former Communes of France, commune in the Marne (department), Marne Departments of France, department in north-eastern France. Since January 2016, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ is part of the administrative commune Aÿ-Champagne. Its population was 1,113 in 2019. The patron saint is Trésain, Saint Trésain. Champagne Its vineyards are located in the Vallée de la Marne subregion of Champagne (wine region), Champagne, and are classified as Premier Cru (99%) in the Classification of Champagne vineyards, Champagne vineyard classification. Saint Trésain (; or Tressan, Tresanus; 6th century) was an Irish missionary in France. His feast day is 7 February.
