Marco Enríquez-Ominami
Marco Antonio Enríquez-Ominami Gumucio (born 12 June 1973) is a Chilean- French, filmmaker, politician, and perennial candidate. From 2006 to 2010 he was a Socialist Party deputy in Chile's lower chamber. In 2009 he quit the party and ran for President of the Republic as independent, where he finished third with 20% of the vote. He is currently the leader of the Progressive Party, which he founded in 2010. Enríquez-Ominami is the son of Revolutionary Left Movement's historical leader Miguel Enríquez and sociologist Manuela Gumucio. His adoptive father is former senator Carlos Ominami. Enríquez-Ominami is married to the Chilean TV hostess Karen Doggenweiler, and has two children. Because of his long name he is frequently called MEO or ME-O both in writing and in speech. The Chamber of Deputies ( es, Cámara de Diputadas y Diputados, links=no) is the lower house of Chile's bicameral Congress. Its organisation and its powers and duties are defined in articles 42 to 59 of Chile's current constitution. Lycée Victor Hugo, Paris
The Lycée Victor-Hugo is a secondary school in the 3rd arrondissement, Paris, France. History The school is built on the site of the Convent of the Heavenly Annunciation, called the Blue Girls, founded in 1622. The convent was destroyed in 1796 and replaced by two apartment houses. The state acquired the property in 1892 and razed the buildings. New buildings were designed by the architect Anatole de Baudot (1834-1915), completed in 1894. Through a presidential decree of 17 July 1895, the school was named after the French writer Victor Hugo (1802-1885). At first there were one hundred pupils. Due to growth in the number of pupils, the school purchased a group of buildings in 1938 on the rue Vieille-du-Temple, where it opened the petit lycée Victor-Hugo. The Dirección de Inteligencia Nacional ( en, National Intelligence Directorate) or DINA was the secret police of Chile during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. The DINA has been referred to as "Pinochet's Gestapo". The Scots ( sco, Scots Fowk; gd, Albannaich) are an ethnic group and nation native to Scotland.
