Maraz Hossain Opi ( bn, মারাজ হোসেন অপি; born 10 March 2001) is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Bangladesh Premier League club Abahani Limited Dhaka and the Bangladesh national team. International career Youth Meraz was part of the Bangladesh U16 team that won the 2015 SAFF U-16 Championship. While studying at BKSP, Bangladesh U18 head coach at the time Peter Turner included Maraz in the squad for the 2019 SAFF U-18 Championship in Nepal. On 27 September 2019, Maraz scored for the U18 team as they trashed Bhutan 4–0 to reach the finals of the tournament. The following year, Peter Turner who was in charge of the Bangladesh U19 selected Maraz for the 2020 AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers, where Bangladesh failed to win a single game and even suffered a defeat at the hands of Bhutan. Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Óscar Bruzón Barreras (born 29 May 1977) is a retired Spanish footballer who played as either a winger or a defensive midfielder, and currently managing Bashundhara Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League. 2021 SAFF Championship
The 2021 SAFF Championship, known as Ooredoo SAFF Championship 2021 for sponsorship reasons, was the thirteenth edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organised by South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). Initially, it was decided to be hosted by Pakistan in 2020, but was postponed to September 2021 in Bangladesh. 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualification
The 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification was an international men's under-23 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup. A total of 16 teams qualified to play in the final tournament, including Uzbekistan who qualified automatically as hosts country. Due to non-compliance to doping regulations, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) banned Indonesia and Thailand from using their national flags in competitions, except during the Olympics. It was reported that Indonesia prepared the flag of its federation, in the event its team was barred from using the national flag. Maruful Haque ( bn, মারুফুল হক) is a Bangladeshi professional football coach and former player, who is currently the head coach of Sheikh Jamal DC.
